Join us on an unforgettable eight-day mountain bike odyssey through South Africa’s Western Cape. From March 16–23, 2025, the ABSA Cape Epic pushed riders to their limits across a brutal 608 km of racing and 16 500 m of climbing, winding through rugged vineyards, sweeping single track, technical ascents, and breathtaking vistas.
This 21st edition delivered fresh challenges: over 300 km of brand-new trails, a cutting-edge point-to-point time trial, and panoramic routes offering unparalleled epicness. Hosted in the scenic Cape Winelands, with the prologue on the slopes of Meerendal Wine Estate, each stage featured uncompromising climbs and pulse-pounding descents—testing both physical endurance and mental resolve.
Catch the raw emotion, the technical terrain, and the sheer spectacle of the “Tour de France of mountain biking.” Whether you’re chasing sensation, precision, or passion—this is MTB’s ultimate battleground.
